Stretcher Bars - Regular

F. A. Edmunds stretcher bars are manufactured from soft basswood and have eased edges for comfort. Stretcher bars help keep your canvas taut, eliminating movement and thus reducing the need for blocking. 

Colonial Brand standard stretcher bars are made of soft pine with eased edges to ensure safe and stable tension without snagging your canvas. These are also .75" x .75".

IMPORTANT NOTE AS OF JULY 2026: Due to the prior stretcher bar shortage, Rain City is currently carrying both brands. Please note that each length is either Edmunds OR Colonial.  Contrary to what was advised, it appears that these two brands ARE NOT COMPATIBLE to use together, and we recommend you use the same brand of stretcher bars for the length and width of your canvas.  We will revert back to Edmunds for all stretcher bars as supply allows.  We apologize for this incovenience and will do our best to help you select the stretcher bars you need for your project!
