Build Your Own Stitch Journal (Class Series) - Saturday, October 10

New and seasoned stitchers will benefit from this pay-as-you-go monthly class series to build your own stitch journal, which you will reference for years to come!  Under the guidance of our resident Royal School of Needlework graduate Denise Forsyth, this monthly 2-hour class introduces three stitches you get to practice on a swatch of canvas using a small variety of threads. 

Each month's selection of stitches is chosen by Denise. A stitch could be brand new, or it might be a favorite go-to for you.  Don't be dismayed if a stitch is one you've used before...you might learn that you weren't executing it quite right, or that it looks better with a heavier or lighter thread.

Each class is $40 and includes 2 hours of instruction, a pop-in page with stitch charts and working canvas to add to your binder*, threads, and a needle. There is no commitment to attend class every month -- simply sign up as you go and build your stitch journal at your own pace.

*A one-time $12 fee for your journal binder will be charged at the first class you attend.

Monthly class sessions will be scheduled for the first Sunday from 2-4 pm and the second Saturday from 9-11 am.  The same stitches are offered at both classes each month, allowing you to choose which day works best with your schedule.

There are 12 seats available for each class.  Registration for each month's classes will have a staggered release.  Watch our social media channels and website!

RCN's standard class cancellation policy applies to all classes in this series. Cancellations received at least 15 days prior to the class start date will result in 50 percent of the registration fee returned to you as a store credit. For cancellations received within 14 days of the class start date, the registration fee is non-refundable.
