Finishing Classes with Lita O'Hara - December 2026

Learn how to do your own needlepoint ornament finishing with one of the best in the business, NashvilleNeedlepointer Lita O'Hara (@nashvilleneedlepointer). Bring a completed (stitched) canvas that fits the canvas guidelines (listed below) and learn Lita's no-glue method of beautiful finishing! 

Sign up for multiple sessions!   Take a beginner class and follow with an intermediate class to really hone your skills.  There are 10 seats per class, and Lita’s classes sell out quickly. For waitlisting, call/text (206-730-5005) or email the shop (stitch@raincityneedlepoint).

NOTE:*Intermediate classes require prior completion of a beginner class with Lita, either in-person (includes prior shop visits) or online.   For these classes, you should be comfortable making/sewing on cording.

• 5:30 - 9:30 pm :: Square/Rectangle Ornament, Beginner (4 hours) $160

Saturday, December 12

• 9 am - 1 pm :: Round Ornament, Beginner (4 hours) $160
  
  
• 2 - 6 pm:: Round Gussetted Ornament, Intermediate* (4 hours) $160
  NOTE: Prior to this class, attendees should make their cording and also prep the front side of their ornament (like a basic flat ornament) to optimize class time.  A cording station will be available in the shop before class. This class is ideal for those already doing their own flatback round ornaments and want to add the gusset technique.

CANVAS GUIDELINES
Round ornaments should be 5" or less in diameter; square/rectangle ornaments should be 5" inches or less on any side; irregular-shape ornaments should be 5" or less in width and/or height. Contact the shop if you are unsure if your canvas meets the guidelines.  (Don't have a finished canvas? You can purchase a "practice" swatch of blank canvas to use for class.)

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Class registration fees must be paid in full to reserve your seat. Cancellations received at least 15 days prior to the class start date will result in 50 percent of the registration fee returned to you as a store credit. For cancellations received within 14 days of the class start date, the registration fee is non-refundable.
